Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Create personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that strategies align with their individual needs and goals.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care techniques.

• Monitor and document client progress systematically, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continuously improve therapeutic techniques.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will work with clients from various backgrounds, including underserved communities such as refugees, the homeless, and survivors of domestic abuse. This role allows you to provide meaningful support to those in critical situations, helping them to achieve stability and improved mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential is required.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively balance a caseload and administrative responsibilities.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• Salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
