Life Carriage Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) for a full-time position that can be carried out remotely. The role is set in a flexible remote work setting, with an outpatient office setup in Joliet, Illinois. Our team operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexible scheduling to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally competent mental health assessments to gain insight into each patient's unique circumstances. Utilize this information to formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific backgrounds and needs.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring that treatment modalities resonate with the cultural and personal identities of each patient.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on addressing a range of mental health concerns while fostering resilience and promoting overall well-being.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure cohesive and integrative mental health care for all patients.

• Provide crisis intervention, equipping you to manage mental health emergencies effectively while offering empathetic support during challenging circumstances.

• Engage patients and their families in educational discussions regarding mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, thereby empowering them in their mental health journeys.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, demonstrating professionalism and diligence regarding privacy and security.

• Participate in regular case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing cultural competency training to enhance clinical skills and team collaboration.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess a current and valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, along with evidence-based treatment methodologies and cultural sensitivity in therapeutic practices.

• Prior experience in delivering therapeutic modalities in individual and group settings, with a proven track record of culturally responsive care.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to navigate stressful situations with a calm, reassuring demeanor.

• Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities, allowing for rapport building with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.

• A steadfast commitment to ethical practice, maintaining confidentiality, and establishing professional boundaries.

• Capability to effectively communicate and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
