An Insight Global client in the waste management industry is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to drive business growth for a newly opened transfer station. This individual will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and developing new customer relationships within an approximately 10-mile radius of the facility. The ideal candidate is a true "hunter" who thrives on generating leads from scratch, making outbound calls, and building a sales pipeline through proactive outreach. This role will focus on targeting contractors, landscapers, plumbers, roofing companies, construction firms, junk removal companies, and other businesses that generate waste streams serviced by the facility. Success will be measured by the ability to increase market awareness, create qualified opportunities, and convert prospects into recurring customers.
- 3+ years of recent sales experience in inside sales, business development, lead generation, or a related role.
- Proven experience conducting outbound prospecting and cold calling.
- Demonstrated ability to build a sales pipeline from little to no existing lead data.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce to manage sales activity and opportunities.
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently. Strong relationship-building and customer-facing skills.
