Joyful Journeys Mental Health Services is seeking licensed mental health therapists to join our dedicated team remotely in Gresham, Oregon. This full-time role calls for skilled professionals holding a valid license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in Oregon, with a deep commitment to improving the mental health and overall well-being of our diverse clientele.

Work Environment\n

This remote position allows therapists the flexibility to manage their schedules while also providing excellent care to patients. Despite the remote setting, team collaboration is a priority, and regular online meetings ensure continuous communication and support among all staff members. Therapists will work under a structured schedule of Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' needs, strengths, and treatment goals.

• Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups to provide education and promote community amongst care recipients.
\n
• Collaborate actively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.

• Offer immediate crisis intervention services, assisting patients during acute mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower their recovery.
\n
• Maintain precise documentation and patient records in adherence to legal and ethical standards in mental health care.

• Participate in case consultations, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills.

• Stay informed about advancements in mental health research and therapeutic practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patients include individuals of all ages who struggle with a variety of mental health issues, ranging from childhood behavioral challenges to adult disorders. We emphasize treating diverse populations, respecting varying cultural backgrounds, and ensuring each patient receives empathetic, tailored support throughout their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW within the state of Oregon.
\n
• Demonstrated expertise in mental health disorders and therapeutic modalities, along with a track record of effective assessment and treatment planning.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective relationships with patients and team members.
\n
• Sound clinical judgment and adherence to ethical guidelines in maintaining professional boundaries.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications for client management.
\n
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work harmoniously within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing individual and group therapy to a diverse client base.

• Experience working in outpatient or community mental health settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
