Job Summary

Join our dynamic Critical Resource Float Pool as a Registered Nurse in New York, NY. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse acute care settings, including our 16-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Intermediate Care (IMC) unit, 32-bed Medical/Surgical/Telemetry units, and a 23-monitored bed Emergency Department (ED).

As a vital member of our team, you will adapt to varying patient populations, from critical care to general medical-surgical and all stages of life in the ED. This position requires a highly skilled and adaptable RN capable of managing diverse acuities and patient ratios while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, comprehensive bedside nursing care to patients across assigned units, including ICU, IMC, Medical/Surgical/Telemetry, and Emergency Department.
• Manage patient assignments with varying ratios: 1:2 in ICU, 1:3 in IMC, 1:5 (1:6 during surge staffing) in Med/Surg/Tele, and 1:4 (1:5 during surge staffing) in ED.
• Utilize nursing assistant support and collaborate with assigned/unassigned Charge Nurses to optimize patient care delivery.
• Perform patient triage and initial assessments in the Emergency Department as required.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and timely within the
