Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and document client histories thoroughly from initial consultation through completion of treatment.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that encompass therapeutic goals and intervention strategies tailored to various client needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage personal expression and peer support.

• Monitor client progress regularly, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment plan.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent in New York State.

• Successful completion of required examinations, such as the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Solid knowledge of psychotropic medications and their effects as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
