Our work schedule is typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility based on patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing structured interviews and evidence-based tools to evaluate patient needs and establish effective treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to individual, couples, or family settings.

• Lead psychoeducational and support groups that empower participants to share experiences and foster community among those dealing with similar mental health concerns.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow counselors to coordinate care and ensure a holistic approach to treatment.

• Provide crisis intervention to patients during mental health emergencies, employing best practices to manage acute situations effectively.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and local mental health resources to promote self-advocacy and informed decision-making.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and various therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and devise effective treatment strategies.

• Experience working with individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds, employing culturally competent care practices.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong interpersonal relationship-building qualities.

• Adherence to ethical standards and professional boundaries in clinical practice.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of one year of relevant experience is required, candidates with extensive backgrounds in telehealth services, trauma-informed care, or specialized expertise in particular mental health conditions will be prioritized.

Compensation and Benefits\n
