Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Overland Park, KS Contract Position with Potential for Extension or Conversion Our client in Overland Park is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support their growing team. This role is responsible for managing high-volume accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, payment execution, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a large ERP environment, strong three-way matching skills, and exceptional attention to detail. Key Responsibilities + Process high-volume accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently. + Perform invoice coding, validation, and three-way matching. + Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and PO match exceptions. + Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments. + Maintain AP records and documentation in compliance with company policies. + Generate and support management reporting as needed. + Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve payment-related issues. + Provide excellent customer service while maintaining strong fiduciary responsibility. Required Qualifications + 1+ year of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment. + Experience with invoice processing and three-way matching. + Proficiency with Microsoft Excel. + Experience working within an ERP system such as Workday, Oracle, SAP, or a similar platform. + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications + Experience handling PO match exceptions. + Workday experience. + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Overland Park, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
