Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their mental health status.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create individualized treatment plans that are tailored to their unique needs, goals, and preferences, fostering a sense of ownership and empowerment in their mental health journey.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address the needs of clients experiencing mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and available treatment options, helping them to understand the complexities of their conditions and the importance of self-care strategies.

• Monitor, track, and analyze clients' progress throughout their treatment, utilizing appropriate metrics and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.

• Engage in collaborative care by working alongside psychiatrists and other medical professionals, ensuring that clients receive an integrated approach to their mental health care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorders and therapeutic techniques to continuously enhance your practice.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of client sessions and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights and staying engaged in ongoing professional development to refine clinical skills.

• Advocate for clients, promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mood disorders within the community, thereby supporting enhanced understanding and acceptance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will primarily be on working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. These clients often face challenges that affect their daily lives, and your expertise will help them navigate their mental health struggles, enhancing their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Massachusetts.
\n
• Proven expertise in evidence-based therapeutic techniques specifically relevant to mood disorders, including, but not limited to, CBT and DBT.
\n
• Thorough understanding of psychopharmacology, facilitating effective communication and collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals.
\n
• Demonstrated success in delivering positive treatment outcomes for clients with mood disorders.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling the establishment of rapport with clients from a variety of backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a community health setting, providing exposure to a diverse population with varying degrees of mental health challenges.

Compensation and Benefits\n
