Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to assigned clients, ensuring they meet established medical necessity and DSM V diagnostic criteria.

• Engage with young clients and their families through counseling that addresses mental health concerns and promotes resilience and coping strategies.

• Develop and facilitate psycho-educational groups focused on parenting skills, mental wellness, and community support, adapting content as needed to meet client needs.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation including client case materials, therapy notes, and required statistical data essential for compliance and quality assurance.

• Meet the clinic's contractual obligations regarding billing by tracking and reporting a specified number of reimbursable hours each month.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on counseling children and families from diverse backgrounds, supporting them through various mental health challenges. Clients may present with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and significant life transitions. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing their emotional and psychological resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A completed Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.

• Valid and current licensure as LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT within the state of California.

• A maximum of three years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and documentation requirements effectively.

• A self-motivated and proactive individual, skilled in initiating actions necessary for efficient billing and comprehensive documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
