Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual patient needs, strengths, and goals.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.

• Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions, ensuring tailored support for each client's unique circumstances.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at increasing awareness and providing community support for mental health challenges.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a seamless and holistic approach to patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention services for patients experiencing acute mental health issues, ensuring timely and effective support.

• Educate clients about mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain detailed and confidential electronic health records (EHR) to document patient progress and treatment effectiveness.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education sessions to enhance your professional skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The patients we serve come from various backgrounds and face an array of mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and substance abuse. You will engage with individuals from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and age groups, enriching your practice and professional experience while helping clients navigate their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) in the state of California.

• Deep understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment strategies.

• Exceptional skills in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective treatment plans.

• Experience providing therapeutic services to diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity.

Preferred Experience\n

While a Bachelor’s degree is the minimum educational requirement, candidates with a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology are encouraged to apply. Those with experience in crisis intervention and case management will find this position particularly aligned with their skill sets. A history of facilitating support groups and educational seminars is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
