Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, including severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, preferences, and aspirations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment methodologies, and self-care techniques, fostering their involvement in the therapeutic process.

• Regularly monitor and document clients' progress through effective tracking systems, ensuring treatment plans are adjusted as necessary for optimal outcomes.

• Coordinate closely with psychiatrists and other interdisciplinary professionals to provide integrated care, sharing insights and updates to enhance treatment efficacy.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to continuously enhance therapeutic approaches and client outcomes.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with both legal and ethical obligations.

• Participate in ongoing professional development activities, case consultations, and team meetings to strengthen clinical competence.

• Serve as a vocal advocate for clients, working to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health conditions while promoting understanding and acceptance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with clients facing mood disorders, including depression and bipolar disorders, along with anxiety-related conditions. Our clientele is diverse, with individuals from various backgrounds seeking care for their mental health challenges. Your expertise will guide them through their therapeutic journey, fostering resilience and supporting their overall mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A completed Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license, such as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in California.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment approaches for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and assess treatment efficacy.

• A proven record of successful treatment outcomes with patients experiencing mood disorders.

• Outstanding communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with clients from a wide range of backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
