General Ledger Accountant

Title : Senior GL Accountant Location : 568 Broadway 10th Floor, NY, NY 4 days onsite starting off, then can flex down to 2 Duration : 6 months - 11/1/2026 target start date Schedule : M-F: 8-5 Key Responsibilities: Weekly: Match bank transactions Track tax payment outflows Review Ramp credit card transactions and reach out to business owners as necessary Review prepaid expenses Review OPEX expenses Payroll account review Monthly: Reconcile bank accounts Reconcile credit card accounts Record journal entries for interest and credit card rebates Record month-end journal entries: legal, OPEX, fixed asset depreciation, prepaid amortization, and payroll Reconcile operating GL accounts Assist with month-end variance commentary What we're looking for: 3+ years of accounting experience in corporate or public accounting Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance Hands-on experience with month-end close, accruals, and account reconciliations Strong analytical skills: ability to dig into data, spot trends and anomalies, and perform root cause analysis Ability to partner cross-functionally to obtain necessary information Systems: Netsuite preferred, Coupa and Ramp are a plus
