This unique opportunity allows you to work remotely while engaging with diverse trauma injury patients in our outpatient office setting located in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Interaction with patients occurs primarily through telehealth platforms, complemented by in-person consultations as needed. Our work hours are standard, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations of patients' mental health needs, focusing on their trauma experiences.

• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic techniques suited to each patient’s unique circumstances.

• Provide ongoing counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based interventions to help patients manage their mental and emotional challenges.

• Educate patients and family members on effective coping strategies and resources that can enhance their recovery process.

• Monitor and track patient progress over time, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to align with their evolving needs, therapeutic goals, and responses to treatment.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and agencies to ensure comprehensive support for your patients.

• Engage in professional development through continued education to maintain your National Certified Counselor credentials and to stay abreast of the latest therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals recovering from trauma-related injuries. Many of these patients are coping with significant life changes, emotional distress, and psychological challenges stemming from their experiences. You will be instrumental in providing crucial support that helps them regain a sense of control over their lives. Qualifications\n

• A valid Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida.

• A minimum of three years of experience working directly with trauma patients, showcasing a deep understanding of trauma-informed care.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and communication purposes.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing for clear interaction with patients and multidisciplinary team members.

Compensation and Benefits\n
