Key Responsibilities\n

• Educate patients and their families about trauma-informed care practices and stress management techniques.

• Collaborate with social and medical agencies, healthcare providers, and community resources to coordinate comprehensive care.

• Participate in continuing education to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and stay informed about evolving practices in the field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on trauma injury patients, who may be grappling with anxiety, depression, and other emotional disorders resultant from their experiences. You will play a crucial part in helping them identify and articulate their feelings while guiding them on their journey towards healing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) certification.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• At least 3 years of professional experience working with trauma patients, demonstrating an understanding of trauma-informed care.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems; experience with Salesforce is a plus.

• Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to build rapport with patients and collaborate with colleagues effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, familiarity with community resources and an understanding of healthcare systems will enhance your ability to serve our patients effectively. Experience in crisis intervention, individual therapy, and group counseling techniques will also be highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n
