Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students’ communication growth in a school-based setting near Winchester, VA. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you’ll collaborate closely with staff, families, and students from July 27th, 2026, through May 28th, 2027, working a steady 37.5-hour week. Your expertise will help empower learners to succeed academically and beyond.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Valid Virginia SLP license (or eligibility upon start date)
• Experience in school-based environments preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Comfortable working with diverse student populations
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to students
• Document progress, prepare reports, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to support student development
• Provide recommendations and training for classroom accommodations
• Engage positively with students, fostering a supportive learning environment
