This position operates in a fully remote telehealth setting, enabling you to consult with clients from the comfort of your own workspace. Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, ensuring to build rapport and establish constructive relationships, while maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess their progress, discuss upcoming appointments, and plan for appropriate discharges.
\n
• Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans that are person-centered and tailored to each individual client's needs.
\n
• Document client interactions comprehensively, maintaining up-to-date progress notes and treatment records in compliance with regulations.
\n
• Perform thorough intake assessments, evaluating client backgrounds and needs to inform their treatment approach.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions each week, applying various therapeutic modalities as suitable for each client.

• Participate in individual supervision meetings to discuss caseloads, receive feedback, and enhance professional skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As part of Harford Therapeutic & Anxiety Services, you will work with a wide range of clients, including those experiencing anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, PTSD, and other mental health challenges. Our approach seeks to understand the complexities of each client, addressing factors and experiences that impact their mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.
\n
• Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements in relevant clinical settings.
\n
• Minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or populations affected by substance abuse.
\n
• Experience with conducting assessments, diagnoses, and providing both individual and group therapy.
\n

• Demonstrated experience in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices for virtual therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
