Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet clients' unique mental health needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to diverse populations.

• Maintain compliance with legal and ethical standards while keeping accurate and up-to-date clinical records in our electronic medical records (EMR) system.

• Enhance client support by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, involving social workers, psychiatrists, and healthcare providers.

• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops, training, and staying informed about the latest advancements in mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The successful candidate will work with a diverse client population, including adults, adolescents, and families facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use issues. Your role will focus on providing compassionate care, understanding each client's unique background, and designing treatment modalities that resonate with their individual experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is mandatory.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Connecticut.
