Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized care to patients, conducting thorough assessments and developing customized therapy plans that address their unique needs and goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques to enhance patient mobility and minimize discomfort—examples include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient care using the WebPT system, ensuring compliance with regulatory and insurance standards.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, sharing insights and coordinating care for more comprehensive patient support.
• Educate patients and their families on strategies to maximize recovery and improve overall health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This patient population often requires tailored rehabilitation strategies, and your role will involve building rapport and trust to encourage adherence to therapy plans. Understanding the emotional and psychological aspects of recovery is crucial, as many patients may face challenges related to pain and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• An active California Physical Therapy license or eligibility to obtain one is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, complemented by a commitment to delivering patient-focused care.
• A proactive and engaging approach to rehabilitation, demonstrating enthusiasm and a passion for helping others.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar clinical setting, with a focus on orthopedic outpatient care.

• Familiarity with using electronic medical record systems, particularly WebPT.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary in the range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
