Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments for each patient to devise personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring movement and minimizing pain.
• Engage in one-on-one patient sessions, typically working with 1–2 patients per hour, where you will implement hands-on treatment techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic modalities and technology, including ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy, to facilitate recovery.
• Adjust treatment plans based on patient progress through regular evaluations, ensuring adaptation and evolution of care strategies.
• Document each patient's progress accurately and efficiently using WebPT software, enabling seamless collaboration within the healthcare team.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases with physicians and other healthcare providers, enhancing integrated care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with orthopedic patients, ranging from post-operative recovery cases to individuals managing chronic pain or sports-related injuries. The diverse demographic includes adolescents, active adults, and older adults, allowing you to tailor your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; advanced degrees such as a Master's or Doctorate are preferred.
• Must possess a valid Physical Therapy license in California or demonstrate eligibility to obtain one in a timely manner.
• Demonstrated skills in problem-solving and critical thinking, with a strong dedication to patient education and preventative care.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and their families, creating an encouraging and motivating therapy environment.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is strongly desired.
• Experience utilizing WebPT or similar electronic healthcare record management systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of current best practices and trends in physical therapy and rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range between $120,000 and $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
