Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health status, strengths, and needs of patients undergoing detoxification.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to support individual recovery.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and fellow social workers, to create a coordinated care plan that addresses each patient's unique needs.

• Guide patients and their families through understanding complex diagnoses, exploring treatment options, and managing medication regimens.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities to aid in recovery and emotional management.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team, integrating patients’ goals and preferences effectively.

• Advocate for patients within the mental health system, assisting them in navigating services, charting paths to recovery, and ensuring their rights are upheld.

• Organize and lead therapeutic groups and psychoeducation sessions to empower patients during their recovery process.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Sevita, you will primarily work with individuals facing substance use challenges in a detox center setting. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
