This position is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to manage your schedule while delivering quality care to clients in need. You will connect with clients via telehealth platforms, ensuring accessibility and comfort for those who may find it challenging to attend in-person appointments. As a part of our health clinic's multidisciplinary team, you will engage with social workers, healthcare providers, and mental health professionals, facilitating a cohesive approach to client care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate trauma-informed therapeutic techniques.

• Provide telehealth services to clients, delivering evidence-based therapies focused on mental health and substance use disorder recovery.

• Document medical necessity and progress notes promptly and accurately to support client entries into our program and comply with organizational protocols.

• Research, refer, and advocate for necessary community resources, including food programs, childcare, and healthcare, enhancing clients' overall well-being.

• Proactively respond to crisis situations, such as incidents of child abuse or mental health emergencies, following established protocols to ensure safety and support.

• Regularly monitor and follow up with clients to track their progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to meet their evolving needs.

• Support clients in navigating life changes, such as illness, divorce, or unemployment, helping them build resilience and effective coping strategies.

This role primarily involves working with individuals grappling with substance use issues and trauma-related experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license within the state of California.
