Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their individual circumstances.

• Provide individualized and family therapy sessions tailored to the specific mental health needs and goals of each patient.

• Efficiently complete documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, adhering to specified timelines to ensure smooth processes.

• Develop crisis intervention strategies, safety plans, relapse prevention frameworks, and wellness plans to support and maintain patients’ stable functioning.

• Create a thorough discharge plan that facilitates continuity of care post-therapy.
\n
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as comply with NEHS policies and procedures, ensuring ethical and lawful practices.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on best practices in mental health therapy.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster collaboration and share insights.
\n
• Complete all required licensure and mandatory training to uphold professional standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field resulting in licensure.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
