As a Security Officer Unarmed Vehicle Patrol Driver in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving position supports a welcoming environment through clear communication and timely response to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or vendors at a retail mall location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the mall, including common areas, retail corridors, parking areas, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Observe and report unusual activity, property conditions, and potential security-related concerns to help deter unauthorized activity and support a welcoming shopping environment.
• Assist with access control, directional assistance, and other customer service needs while maintaining professional communication with mall guests and stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
