Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic government transit location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support riders, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will reflect our agile, reliable, and innovative approach while working with a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $22.83 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at transportation facilities and public service locations.
• Respond to incidents, service calls, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, public areas, and/or restricted locations, assisting with screening of visitors, directing foot traffic, and reporting policy violations or suspicious behavior.
• Support daily operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and following Allied Universal protocols and site instructions while working in varied environments and conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
