Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments tailored to the unique needs of elderly patients, taking into consideration their physical, cognitive, and emotional health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Partners in Care Counseling Center, you will primarily focus on an elderly patient demographic. This population may be dealing with various mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, cognitive decline associated with dementia, and issues related to aging and adjustment. Your expertise will contribute to significant improvements in their mental health and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, preferably working with elderly clients or in a geriatric setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
