Family Health Primary Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Tallahassee, Florida. Work Environment

You will be joining a collaborative work setting located onsite within our hospital facility in Tallahassee, known for its welcoming atmosphere and strong team spirit. The FNP will work a structured schedule that includes weekend coverage, enabling a balanced work-life integration.

The weekly schedule consists of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with every other weekend shifts resulting in two designated days off during the week.

Key Responsibilities

As a Family Nurse Practitioner at Family Health Primary Center, you will have the following key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough Health and Physical Assessments (H&Ps) for each new patient admission, ensuring an accurate evaluation of medical history and current health status.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, including ordering and prescribing medications for clients upon admission or during treatment, using evidence-based practices.
• Oversee and manage the care for patients requiring medical stabilization, including facilitating necessary transfers when indicated.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care, empowering them in their healthcare decisions.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care across various departments and services, ensuring seamless integration of patient services.

The Family Nurse Practitioner position primarily serves a diverse population, including children, adolescents, and adults facing a range of health issues, particularly those struggling with eating disorders. Our patient-centered care model emphasizes understanding the unique challenges faced by each individual and crafting personalized treatment plans that cater to their specific needs.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this Family Nurse Practitioner role should possess the following qualifications:

• A graduate of an accredited Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program, specializing in a clinical Nurse Practitioner track.
• Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care discipline, such as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP).
• Licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or an equivalent state-recognized designation.
• Competence in both outpatient and inpatient settings is highly valued and beneficial for this role.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certifications; training may be provided if needed prior to starting.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $150,000, contingent upon experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
