Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, goals, and preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to implement effective interventions.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Our client base also includes vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. This role requires understanding the complex challenges these individuals face and delivering compassionate support to help them navigate their mental health journeys.
