This role is critical in providing culturally sensitive and effective mental health care tailored to a diverse clientele. Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work environment, allowing therapists the flexibility to connect with clients from the comfort of their homes. While the standard work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, there may be opportunities for flexible scheduling to best accommodate patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that are sensitive to cultural nuances, leading to personalized treatment plans for each patient.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to clients’ individual situations.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on enhancing patients' mental wellness and building resilience.
\n
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other therapeutic staff to provide comprehensive care and support.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services and support for patients experiencing acute mental health issues.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and available treatment modalities, including referrals to additional community resources.
\n
• Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards while ensuring confidentiality.
\n
• Engage in case conferences and team meetings regularly, contributing to discussions that enhance our understanding of cultural competency and best practices in mental health care.

• Stay current with the latest research and developments in mental health to ensure best practices are employed in therapeutic approaches.

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LPC, or equivalent) is required.

• A Bachelor's Degree is mandated; a Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of cultural competency and sensitivity in mental health care delivery.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for connecting with patients and multidisciplinary team members.

• Ability to employ various therapeutic modalities and adjust strategies to meet diverse patient needs.

• Prior experience in a community mental health setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
