This position is designed to be fully remote to allow flexibility for our therapists while maintaining a structured support system. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists to ensure that we provide holistic and coordinated care. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ emotional and psychological needs; craft individualized treatment plans based on these assessments.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness strategies to enhance patient treatment.

• Facilitate support and psychoeducational groups that provide community-based learning experiences related to mental health topics and coping strategies.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and support services for patients experiencing acute mental health crises to ensure safety and appropriate care.
\n
• Educate patients about mental health conditions, alongside available treatment options and community resources for additional support.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and compliant documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development workshops to stay abreast of advancements in mental health therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with diverse populations including adolescents, adults, and families dealing with a range of mental health conditions. Our patient demographics reflect the vibrant and multicultural community of Plano, Texas, allowing counselors to engage with various perspectives and challenges. All therapy sessions are conducted with respect for each patient’s unique experiences and backgrounds, ensuring personalized and culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT.

• Demonstrated expertise in mental health assessment and treatment planning.

• Experience delivering individual and group therapy to diverse populations and a strong understanding of various therapeutic methods.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage clients compassionately.

• Adherence to professional ethics and boundaries, as well as a commitment to continuous professional development.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with technological tools used for remote therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in the outpatient mental health field, specifically with a focus on therapy to treat common disorders such as anxiety and depression.

• Past roles involving crisis intervention experience and working within multidisciplinary teams are highly regarded.
