Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Description Job Description Position Title: Accounts Payable Analyst Contractor
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid, Wednesday & Thursday in office)
Compensation: $30.00-$35.00 / Per hour
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday
Benefits: This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) Responsibilities:
Reviews and authorizes payment of company invoices and expense reports.
Closes expense report batches and extracts invoices processed at days end.
Uploads files and enters new vendors and ACH information into system.
Ensures timely entry of invoices and reports in the system.
Calculates accruals for both invoices and expense reports and maintains AP accrual account.
Re-classes expenses from the pre-paid account to the expense side.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
ERP: Concur and Excel (pivot tables, vlookups) – both are a must have
Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Three years’ experience providing accounts receivable, accounts payable or similar accounting support functions.
Experience with the use of Microsoft Excel and report creation.
