Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs, including pre-crisis and crisis plans, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation that meets all regulatory and accreditation requirements, ensuring the highest standard of care is upheld.

• Utilize evidence-based screening tools, collaborating closely with clinical teams to implement effective and personalized positive behavior support plans.

• Engage actively in all licensing and accreditation processes, and provide consultation as requested during the planning phases of behavioral guidelines and risk assessments.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and provide individual counseling to help clients manage their emotions and behaviors effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse patient population, including those facing emotional challenges, individuals recovering from substance use, and clients with developmental disabilities or acquired brain injuries. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a similar field is required.

• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting is mandatory.

• Must be license eligible in the State of New York.

• A valid driver’s license with a good standing record is necessary to fulfill job responsibilities effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n
