Work Environment\n

The position allows for a predominantly remote work setting, providing flexibility while ensuring you remain connected with a collaborative team dedicated to enhancing patient care. Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate patient schedules. We utilize state-of-the-art telehealth technologies to facilitate seamless communication and therapy sessions, fostering a supportive outpatient environment.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive cultural assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that respect and acknowledge clients' diverse backgrounds and experiences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, using methodologies specific to each patient’s cultural context, whether conducting individual, family, or group therapy sessions.

• Maintain sensitive patient care through crisis intervention, providing immediate support during emergencies and helping clients navigate acute mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment plans for our clients.

• Engage with patients and families to educate them about mental health conditions, available treatments, and local community resources, empowering them on their recovery journey.

• Accurately document patient interactions and treatment plans while maintaining confidentiality in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case conferences and team meetings, contributing insights gained from ongoing cultural competency training and professional development opportunities.

• Stay current with research and best practices related to mental health therapy, particularly as it pertains to culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, or LCSW in Tennessee.

• In-depth knowledge of various mental health disorders and the ability to utilize evidence-based treatment methods effectively.

• Experience in delivering culturally responsive therapy in both individual and group settings.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the capability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to form meaningful connections with patients from diverse backgrounds.

• Competency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard computer applications is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n
