The successful candidate will work in a remote setting that allows for flexibility, aligning with the school calendar and providing support during school events. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to discern students' emotional, social, and behavioral needs, utilizing observation and standardized assessment tools.

• Deliver individual and group counseling for issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma, employing evidence-based practices tailored to student requirements.

• Organize and facilitate group counseling sessions focused on vital topics, including bullying prevention strategies, stress management techniques, and the development of social skills.

• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to create effective behavioral intervention plans based on assessment results, ensuring that each student receives personalized support.

• Participate in crisis interventions, including risk assessments, safety planning, and emergency response initiatives when required.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops for students, parents, and staff to promote understanding of mental health issues and provide resources for support.

• Assist in transition planning for students with special needs and connect families with community resources to support long-term success.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily support a diverse population of students ranging from early childhood through high school. You will address various mental health issues and developmental challenges faced by children and adolescents, contributing to their overall academic experience. Your expertise in child and adolescent development, along with your understanding of trauma-informed care, will inform your practice and allow you to provide the best possible support for our students and their families.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from a regionally accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits\n
