Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to develop individualized therapy strategies tailored to the needs of each client.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, families, and groups, utilizing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Document clinical records meticulously, adhering to legal and ethical guidelines to ensure both compliance and quality of care.

• Engage in regular collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate holistic treatment and provide integrated care.

• Participate in ongoing professional development workshops to stay updated with the latest mental health research and therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals and families facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Our client population includes those from diverse backgrounds, often requiring innovative approaches to care due to limited access to mental health resources. Your role will directly contribute to improving their access to quality mental health services.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• An active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey.

• Minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting, demonstrating your ability to handle diverse client needs.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma will be highly regarded.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in counseling.
