Operations Associate

A buy-side firm is looking to add to their Operations Team! This role offers broad exposure across the investment platform, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to make a direct impact on the firm's business. As a member of a small Operations team, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's day-to-day operational activities and helping ensure the accuracy and efficiency of processes across the investment platform. Responsibilities Support daily and monthly cash and position reconciliations, helping maintain accurate books and records across portfolios. Liaise with custodians and prime brokers to investigate and resolve trade breaks and other operational discrepancies. Book daily cash flows and support timely, accurate trade settlement. Assist with corporate actions tracking and verification, as well as new account and security setup. Partner with the Investor Services team on new investor onboarding and investor cash flows. Collaborate with colleagues across Operations and the broader firm to strengthen processes, resolve issues, and support the firm's continued growth. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree and 1.5+ years of buy-side operations experience; experience supporting global equity strategies is preferred. Experience with cash and position reconciliations, trade settlement, and other core investment operations processes. Familiarity with common investment operations systems is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines. A proactive, resourceful approach and sound problem-solving skills, with the judgment to identify issues and drive them toward resolution. Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
