CNC Machinist - 1st Shift

We are currently seeking to fill the following position for our Buffalo location.
CNC MACHINIST - 2nd SHIFT
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up, load and operate various 5 axis machines in cellular configuration
- Programmers are responsible for main programing, machinists monitor and modify programs as needed.
- Perform limited work with CNC vertical and horizontal boring mills
- Participate in lean, continuous improvement and six sigma work teams
- Be familiar with safety policies and procedures
- Work safe and participate in safety meetings
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience with 5 axis machines (3 or more years preferred - salary based on experience)
- Must have experience with Mastercam programing and/or Heidenhain controls
- Must be able to read prints and do basic shop math
- Trade school or higher level education preferred
