Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients, ensuring they align with their specific needs and personal goals.

• Utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective therapeutic sessions.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in their condition.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and medical professionals, to provide integrated care.

• Stay informed of current research and developments in the treatment of mood disorders to enhance the efficacy of interventions.

• Maintain accurate and secure client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development programs.

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
