Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and Assess Patients: Conduct comprehensive evaluations focused on movement, strength, and range of motion, identifying physical limitations resulting from orthopedic injuries or surgeries.
• Develop Personalized Treatment Plans: Collaborate closely with patients to formulate individualized rehabilitation strategies aligned with their recovery goals, medical histories, and specific physical capacities.
• Implement Treatment: Utilize various evidence-based interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, neuromuscular re-education techniques, and other modalities tailored to each patient's needs.
• Patient Education: Guide and educate patients about their conditions, realistic recovery timelines, and design customized home exercise programs that foster ongoing recovery and self-management.
• Track Progress: Continuously monitor and document patient progress and functional outcomes, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to optimize recovery and rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with a Team: Engage with physicians, orthopedic surgeons, athletic trainers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain thorough and precise records of all patient interactions and services provided, adhering strictly to clinic protocols and state regulatory requirements.
• Stay Current: Participate in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and training opportunities to keep knowledge and skills relevant.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will work with consist primarily of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries such as joint replacements and ligament repairs, and those managing chronic pain or musculoskeletal disorders. Your role is vital in helping these patients regain mobility, independence, and an improved quality of life through tailored rehabilitation interventions and supportive care strategies.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Active and valid California Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, showcasing proficiency in manual therapy techniques and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of establishing rapport and trust with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
