Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your role will encompass a variety of essential responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and functional evaluations to determine each patient's strengths and limitations.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on the individual needs, setting measurable, outcome-focused objectives to monitor progress over time.
• Utilize advanced therapeutic techniques, including joint mobilization, myofascial release, and soft tissue manipulation, to facilitate recovery and enhance functional mobility.
• Regularly re-evaluate patient progress and modify treatment plans to ensure the best outcomes.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in line with clinic policies and regulatory guidelines, utilizing electronic health record systems.
• Stay abreast of new developments in physical therapy practices and engage in continuing education to enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients seeking rehabilitation for orthopedic issues, including joint replacements, ligament tears, and sports-related injuries. Our commitment to patient-centered care means you will work closely with each individual to develop trust and encourage their participation in the recovery journey. You will engage with a diverse patient demographic, including athletes aspiring to return to their sport, elderly individuals rehabilitating after surgery, and active adults recovering from various injuries.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications:

• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of California.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting. New graduates with clinical experience in orthopedics are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and functional movement evaluations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate patients effectively.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
