Work Environment

This role will be situated on-site at our rehabilitation facility in El Dorado Hills, a vibrant community known for its scenic beauty and outdoor recreational opportunities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients with orthopedic injuries, interpreting assessments to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to facilitate recovery.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as exercises, manual therapy, and electrical modalities, continuously adapting techniques based on patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, effective rehabilitation techniques, and proper body mechanics to promote lasting wellness.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols and all relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians and other healthcare professionals, to create cohesive care plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives, representing the clinic and sharing knowledge about orthopedic health and rehabilitation.
• Support the clinic's efforts in achieving high standards of patient care by contributing to quality improvement activities and internal training programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patients will primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and those managing chronic orthopedic conditions such as arthritis or post-fracture issues. We cater to a broad spectrum of age groups, from young athletes looking to return to sports to older adults aiming to maintain their mobility and independence. Building rapport and trust with patients from diverse backgrounds will be essential in facilitating effective treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

• A valid California State Physical Therapist License is required.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or its equivalent is essential.
• Strong clinical knowledge in orthopedic rehabilitation practices, as well as previous experience in an outpatient setting, is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Proficiency in utilizing rehabilitation equipment and technologies.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a physical therapist, specifically in an outpatient orthopedic setting, is preferred. However, new graduates with a passion for orthopedic rehabilitation are encouraged to apply.
• A demonstrated record of successfully implementing personalized treatment plans that result in positive patient outcomes.
• Experience with managing caseloads effectively while maintaining high quality standards in patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
