Work Environment

As a member of our home care team, you will conduct therapy sessions primarily at the homes of your clients in El Dorado Hills and surrounding areas. Our schedule is flexible, allowing for a work-life balance that varies based on patient needs, generally operating from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. You will manage a caseload of 1-2 patients per hour, ensuring each child receives the individualized attention they deserve in a comfortable, familiar setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored, developmentally appropriate physical therapy interventions for children with diverse diagnoses, including neuromuscular disorders, orthopedic conditions, genetic abnormalities, and developmental delays.
• Conduct thorough evaluations to establish movement-related goals that promote mobility, independence, and active participation in daily activities.
• Create engaging, play-based therapeutic interventions that motivate children, turning each session into a fun and rewarding experience.
• Work collaboratively with families and caregivers to develop educational materials and home exercise programs aimed at enhancing therapeutic outcomes.
• Utilize our user-friendly electronic medical record (EMR) system to document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes with clarity and accuracy.
• Participate in continuous professional development through team meetings, training sessions, and education opportunities, contributing to a culture of shared learning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our services focus exclusively on pediatric patients, offering care that spans a wide spectrum of physical challenges. You will work with infants through school-aged children who require specialized interventions to overcome physical limitations. Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required; Master's or Doctorate degrees are preferred.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the State of California or eligibility to obtain such licensing.

Preferred Experience
