Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite within the homes of patients in the El Dorado Hills area, allowing for a personalized therapy experience that adapts to the patient's living environment. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that allows for work-life balance while enabling you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments, where you will evaluate each patient's medical history, functional limitations, and goals to develop an appropriate care plan.
• Customize individualized plans of care based on assessment insights, integrating evidence-based practices with patient preferences.
• Facilitate patient understanding of their rehabilitation journey, ensuring that care plans are achievable and fostering patient commitment to the program.
• Implement treatment strategies that include tailored education, progressive exercise prescriptions, and effective manual therapy techniques to promote recovery.
• Regularly monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary, ensuring that each patient's evolving needs are met.
• Maintain thorough documentation of services provided, which is crucial for tracking patient outcomes and complying with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our patient population often includes individuals seeking to regain mobility and strength after joint replacements, sports-related injuries, or other orthopedic concerns. Understanding their ambitions and personal circumstances will enable you to create impactful and tailored therapeutic strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in the State of California as a Physical Therapist.
• A clean record with no history of licensing disciplinary actions or board sanctions.
• A minimum of three years of experience specifically in orthopedic physical rehabilitation.
• Proven expertise in manual therapy techniques.
• Demonstrated proficiency in designing and implementing exercise regimens.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a home care setting, providing therapy in various environments.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and patient management.
• Certification in specialized physical therapy techniques such as dry needling or sports therapy.

Compensation and Benefits
