Newburyport, MA • Anna Jaques Hospital • Part-time • DayWhen you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.Job Description:Anna Jaques Hospital – Radiology Department Clinical Secretary II – RadiologyBe part of a fast‑paced, team‑centered Radiology department where your organization and communication skills make a real difference for patients and staff every day.Schedule: Saturdays 8am -12pm What You’ll DoPerform a variety of administrative and front desk dutiesVerify patient eligibility and insurance benefitsCoordinate referrals and prior authorizationsFollow up with patients, providers, and insurance companies– Support billing, denials, data entry, audits, and reports– Assist the Clinical Manager and Director with daily operations– Help train new team members and support staffing coverage– Communicate clearly with patients, families, and care teams What We’re Looking For Self‑directed and detail‑oriented Strong multitasking and organizational skills Excellent customer service and communication Experience in a medical or healthcare office preferredWorks in close collaboration with Clinical Manager and Director in daily operations to ensure a seamless delivery of high-quality care services.Job Requirements:Minimum Education –High School Diploma or equivalent. College Degree and/or business course Preferred.Work Experience:1-3 years clerical/secretarial experience in a medical office/healthcare setting. Experience with insurance claims, authorizations and denials.
