Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans accordingly.

• Facilitate therapy sessions across different formats, including individual, couples, family, and group settings, to address a wide array of emotional and psychological challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions to monitor progress and adapt treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring optimal outcomes.

• Lead parent support groups, creating therapeutic environments that address unique parenting challenges, particularly related to placement and adoption issues, especially for families affected by prenatal substance exposure.

• Maintain thorough clinical documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of client records.

• Provide referrals for additional services as necessary to enhance the holistic well-being of clients.

• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in training and supervision as needed to stay abreast of best practices in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults and children facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Given the nature of our clinic, special attention will be dedicated to issues impacting families, including those navigating the complexities of adoption and the specific needs of children exposed to substances prenatally. Your expertise will be pivotal in fostering a safe space for clients to express their feelings and work towards positive changes.

Qualifications\n

• Valid licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

• At least 2 years of experience providing therapy services within clinical or community settings.

Preferred Experience\n

The position offers a competitive salary ranging between USD 120,000 – 130,000 annually.
