Work Environment\n

This position offers a flexible remote work environment, allowing you to provide valuable services to clients from the comfort of your own space while remaining connected to our supportive team. You will work within a collaborative framework with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, ensuring comprehensive care for all clients. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients’ mood disorder symptoms, ensuring a deep understanding of their individual needs.

• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored and culturally-sensitive treatment plans that are aligned with their personal goals and preferences.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Provide ongoing education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care practices, empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to reflect changing needs and circumstances.

• Engage in coordinated care efforts by collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to enhance treatment approaches and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on clients battling mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, as well as other related mental health issues. You will also work with supporting groups, such as individuals experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse, ensuring that you are responsive to the unique challenges they face. Your expertise and empathy will be critical in fostering a safe and trusting therapeutic environment where clients can explore their feelings and receive the guidance they need.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
