Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, documenting findings accurately throughout the treatment process.

• Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, with an emphasis on setting achievable goals and tracking progress.
\n
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions addressing a range of mental health issues while also leading group therapy sessions that foster peer support.
\n
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, allowing for regular check-ins and updates on their progress towards treatment goals.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other mental health professionals, to ensure holistic care coordination.
\n
• Monitor client referrals and follow up with relevant healthcare providers to ensure seamless continuity of care.
\n
• Assist clients' family members and primary caregivers in navigating the challenges of mental health, providing education and support as needed.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will engage with a diverse population, ranging from children and adolescents to adults, each facing unique mental health challenges. You will develop rapport with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues, tailoring your approach to meet their specific needs. The focus will be on fostering resilience and recovery, empowering clients to take charge of their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Valid and current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Colorado.
\n
• Successful completion of the NCE, and/or the NCMHCE with a passing score.
\n
• Prior experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating clinical competence and familiarity with client-centered therapeutic approaches.

Preferred Experience\n

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, to manage client documentation efficiently.
\n
• Experience addressing a variety of underlying physical and emotional health conditions, including those coupled with addiction disorders.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.
\n
• Strong understanding of the impact of prescribed medications on client health, aiding in comprehensive treatment planning.
\n
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong interpersonal abilities to foster therapeutic relationships.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. A sign-on bonus may be available.
