Business Operations Manager

Summary Lead and manage overall section operations reporting to the section head. Provide guidance and support to section members by promoting a positive culture to enhance morale and motivation of the team. Achieve set KPI, financial targets, and work towards growing the business. Apply the "bad news first" policy to address issues and report promptly and proactively. Exercise authority to influence business decisions in consultation and alignment with upper management. Monitor safety, environmental issues, quality and productivity of all operations, including partners and suppliers’ performance, to ensure compliance with company standards. Mentor, hire, train, coach, review and supervise employees to build a high-performing team. Develop succession plans. Motivate the team by implementing shared values such as Clear Communication, Right First Time, Speed in Execution and Entrepreneurial Spirit. Prepare annual targets, objectives and budget; formulate sales strategies and activities to achieve the plan. Report monthly performance budget vs. actual to the SBU head and provide explanations and corrective actions for any gaps. Prepare, distribute and lead future strategic plans for groups; regularly evaluate and adjust strategies based on results. Monitor internal and external factors that could impact the business. Use strategic tools such as SWOT Analysis, Porters 5 Forces and others for market and business analysis. Create effective and practicable business models with strong value architectures to deliver rewarding contributions in environmental, social and financial returns. Conduct timely employee reviews and set clear objectives. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, International Trade, Finance, Business or equivalent. At least 3-5 years of experience in a people and business management role. Preferably in the automotive industry. Travel up to 25%%, including some international. Shift time: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Compensation Pay: $95 k - $105 k. We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer!
