Job Number: R0230958 Overview The Chief Information Office (CIO) organization seeks a Senior Business Engagement Manager to serve as the primary liaison and trusted advisor for client-facing lines of business and internal functions. The role involves overseeing a portfolio of complex engagements, aligning customer needs with our products and services, and driving business outcomes and growth. Candidates should be competent in communication, collaboration, and relationship building, demonstrating leadership and experience managing large-scale transformations. What You'll Do Build and nurture long‑term relationships with key stakeholders and executives, acting as the primary point of contact and escalation for all engagement‑related matters. Identify opportunities to leverage CIO shared services to offload operational activities, enabling client‑facing staff to focus on delivery, and collaborate on implementation and strategic planning to maximize ROI. Craft and execute communication strategies that convey the CIO’s vision, mission, and value proposition; oversee and curate content for the internal CIO website. Conduct regular, data‑driven performance reviews, such as quarterly business reviews, for customers and internal partners, creating narratives and dashboards that highlight impact and areas for improvement. Lead end‑to‑end management of complex projects or a portfolio of engagements, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget while meeting quality standards. Manage and mentor a team of engagement managers and cross‑functional teams, ensuring cohesive service delivery. You Have 10+ years of experience in business relationship management or communications within a large, matrixed organization. Experience with enterprise technology services and products, aligning them with business objectives. Experience in brand management and marketing, including promotion of technology capabilities and initiatives. Experience building and leading high‑performing teams. Ability to distill complex information into clear, concise messages. Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and drive engagement in complex environments. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality results. Bachelor’s degree. Nice If You Have Experience in government consulting. Experience overseeing and managing internal communication platforms. Knowledge of DIB operations and associated regulations. Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Master’s degree. Compensation Salary range: $125,300.00 to $233,000.00 (annualized USD), depending on location, education, skills, and experience. The posting will close within 90 days of the posting date.
