Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for a work-life balance while still maintaining a strong connection with our clients and team. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a structured schedule that minimizes after-hours demands. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of psychiatric professionals, collaborating remotely but maintaining a profound sense of teamwork and communication.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms, such as depression and anxiety.

• Develop individualized treatment plans in partnership with clients, ensuring that their goals, preferences, and specific needs are at the forefront of all therapeutic efforts.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively address clients’ challenges.

• Engage in client education, offering resources and strategies for self-care and treatment options, and empowering clients and their families through their healing journey.
\n
• Monitor client progress throughout the therapeutic process, making informed adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
\n
• Partner with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to guarantee holistic and coordinated care for each client.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of research and best practices in the treatment of mood disorders, ensuring that care strategies are evidence-driven.

• Document session notes, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and confidentially, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss strategies for complex cases and share insights with colleagues.

• Act as a mental health advocate, promoting awareness and reducing the stigma around mental health issues in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to major depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Clients come from diverse backgrounds and have unique experiences and perspectives that shape their treatment journey. Your role will be pivotal in creating a safe and supportive space for each client, fostering trust and encouraging open dialogue.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Tennessee.

• Proven expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for mood disorders, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and ensure holistic treatment.

• Demonstrated track record of achieving successful client outcomes in the treatment of mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with a varied clientele.

Preferred Experience\n

We prefer candidates who have previous experience working in an outpatient mental health setting, particularly those who have provided therapy for mood disorders. Experience with integrated care approaches or familiarity with telehealth platforms would be advantageous.
